  1. this is an ingenious way for groups to perform their task and share their work. this helps them to collect more information and have precision in their work. but finally work done solely by an individual is more effective and has his own ideas which helps him in processing further work.

    Thanks for your feedback Inderjeet. Whether group work is less effective than individual work is debatable — it all comes down to your objectives. If your objective is to have your students collaborate as a team, evaluate as a team, create as a team (etc.) — all tasks that are very common in the workplace — the group work is necessary.
