eLearning Issue Accessing Tests

At around 7:38pm, some (not all) students reporting to faculty that they were experiencing problems accessing online tests in eLearning.  Students reported seeing an error message when attempting to access tests.  eLearning staff were contacted, and Blackboard (our eLearning vendor) engineers were immediately contacted and began looking into the situation.

The cause of the problem has been identified, and eLearning is in the process of going through a rolling restart to fix the issue.  Rolling restarts typically last 45min-1hr.  During this rolling restart, users should not see any disruption in service.  If you have any questions or need any further information, contact us at elearning@utdallas.edu.
