Jindal School’s Online Programs Move Up in U.S. News Rankings


The Naveen Jindal School of Management at UT Dallas continues to prove it’s a leader in online learning programs for graduate management education, as evidenced by its high placement in two new rankings from U.S. News & World Report.

Released this week, the 2017 Best Online Programs Rankings placed both the school’s online MBA and online graduate business programs in the top 10.

Faculty CAN access F14 eLearning courses; Helpful Video Links

Just a quick reminder …  Even though your Fall 2014 courses have the wording “(not currently available)” beside the course name, YOU are still able to access your courses and add/modify content.  This wording just means that the courses are not available to your students.  Courses will become available Monday morning.

Also, please notice that I’ve added some links on the My eLearning web page to some videos we’ve been sending out to several faculty recently.  If you log into eLearning, you should see a bright blue module on the left side of the page titled “HELPFUL VIDEOS FOR FACULTY”.  These video links will remind you how to add a TA to your course, how to copy content from your old semester to your Fall course, and even how to clean up your Course List.

Spring 2012 Welcome for all Students Taking UTD Online Courses

Welcome to the Spring 2012 semester at UT Dallas! This post provides you the information to access your online course(s). All courses start on Tuesday, January 17, 2012. Students will be able to access the Spring 2012 online courses on the first day of the semester. Your course(s) are located on eLearning. You will log on to your course(s) at:

*** Using your UTD NetID

To get your login account for an eLearning course:

1. Before you can login to your UT Dallas eLearning course(s), you need a valid UTD NetID and Password (which is assigned to you when you enroll at UTD).

2. If you are a new student, please activate your UTD NetID and Password at:

3. If you have any problems with your NetID, please contact the IR Helpdesk at 972-883-2911 or

*** Accessing your eLearning class

1. To access eLearning, go to

2. Click the “Check Browser” button to validate your web browser for eLearning. Please see the notes about the Pop-up Blockers and Java Security Certificate on the page.

3. Click on “Academic”.

4. Click “Log In”.

5. Enter your UTD NetID and Password into the appropriate fields. Click the “OK” button.

6. You will see a page showing a list of your eLearning classes. To enter a class, click the class title link and you will see the Course Content page.

7. If you have any problems while logged into eLearning, please contact UT Dallas’ 24/7 eLearning Helpdesk at

*** Inside your eLearning class

1. The first page you see when you enter your course is the Course Content page which contains several icons.

2. The Course Menu on the left side lists all available tools and items for your class.

3. Please thoroughly read the course syllabus and then check all the areas in the course to become familiar with the features and contents of the course.

4. You can click on the “Help” menu on each course page to access help information related to that page or tool.
