Clickers Information for Fall 2017

Good Afternoon,


The UT Dallas eLearning Team assists faculty in implementing CLICKERS (classroom polling technology). At UTD, the officially recommended clicker software is Turning Point Cloud by Turning Technologies LLC.

  • PLEASE REVIEW THIS CHECKLIST of what you need to do for the upcoming semester.
  • PLEASE REFER THESE VIDEO TUTORIALS to refresh your memory on the use of Turning Point Cloud.
  • Please stop by at the eLEARNING OPEN LABS if you need hands-on assistance or if you would like us to look over your setup.

The UT Dallas eLearning team offers training workshops on various educational technology topics.

We conduct weekly Open Labs to offer hands-on assistance to faculty & staff with elearning tools. No registration required. You can bring your own device or use a lab computer.

This summer, the eLearning team offers several training workshops for faculty and staff. To see the list of workshops, and to register, please visit the TRAINING REGISTRATION FORM – SUMMER 2016. If you are unable to find suitable dates, please contact us for a one-to-one session via our SPECIAL TRAINING REQUEST FORM.


We also have OPEN LABS, where faculty & staff can walk in and receive hands-on assistance with eLearning tools. No registration required! The Open Lab would be held every Friday , 10:00 AM – 12 NOON , at JSOM 2.224. The first Open Lab is tomorrow, 05/27.

Trainings & Upcoming OPEN LAB!

With the midterms approaching, we’d like to remind faculty about our training sessions on ONLINE TESTS, ASSIGNMENTS, and making the best use of the GRADE CENTER. These workshops may also benefit your Teaching Assistants in creating question pools, or building online tests. If you would like to have your TAs trained in these areas, please forward this link to them, so that they can register at the earliest.

The eLearning Team is hosting two Open Labs this week. If you have eLearning related queries or need assistance with any tools, please stop by at any time during the below mentioned open lab sessions. You will be assisted by a member of the eLearning team.

eLearning OPEN LAB: Friday, June 19, 2015

Need help with your eLearning course? The eLearning Team is hosting an Open Lab on FRIDAY, June 19th. An experienced eLearning Team member will be available to assist you as you upload, organize, and create content in eLearning. You do not need to stay the entire time — Just drop in any time during the two-hour Open Lab session and get the help you need. No need to register. See you then!
